General responsibilities of the position :

In a manufacturing environment at the leading edge of technology, candidates will be required to:
• Distribute equipment throughout all areas of the plant
• Handle various objects, boxes, parts and carts using the appropriate lifting equipment
• Receive, check, prepare and issue all equipment
• Use computer transactions and software to complete their work
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Maintain logbooks
• Drive various handling vehicles
• Perform stocktaking when required
Specific responsibilities of position :
The successful candidate will be required to work in several different work centres within the logistics team
• Engine and parts handling
• Receiving/dispatch
• Packaging
• Store
Qualifications required :
• Degree: Vocational diploma (DEP) in aeronautics or logistics or any other related training
• 1 to 2 years' experience working in an industrial environment
• Ability to perform manual work with a variety of tools
• Proven ability to work in a team
• Evidence of initiative-taking
• Knowledge of using computers with Windows software
• Ability to drive a forklift truck and other industrial vehicles
• Certification to authorize the dispatch of hazardous materials (an asset)
• Good physical condition will be considered an asset
