General responsibilities of the position :
As planned in the progression program, perform the simplest to the most complex of the department’s operations in order to assemble and disassemble a wide variety of engine configurations. Observe the process and results of assembly performed by others in order to witness compliance with standards. May be asked to perform the simplest operations in order to install and test a limited variety of engine configurations. Perform related and general duties. Keep equipment and work station clean and in good working condition.
Specific responsibilities of position :
Performs work according to specific assembly and test work instructions. giving necessary attention to the use and care of equipment, tools and safe working practices;
? Ensures assembled parts and details meet fits, clearances, backlash and other specified requirements, and that all checks are carried and that records are kept of specific functional dimensions at assembly and teardown;
? Checks that tools and parts are clean, FOD free and not damaged prior to use.
? Assists in troubleshooting during assembly or disassembly of engines.
