General responsibilities of the position :

Working with instructions, service requests and processes established for preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance and any kind of work on electrical and electronic repair for various equipment or machinery. Installs and assembles equipment according to operational needs.

Proposes and makes changes to upgrade various equipment and machinery. Performs diagnostic to identify the source of the problem, dismantles equipment to the defective parts and maintains integrity. Searches repetitive troubleshoot or breakage and recommends effective corrective methods.

Determines the location and arrangement of material. Estimates the extent of tasks and materials required for repairs or replacements and organizes its work in collaboration with other trades. Installs, replaces, repairs, adjusts and aligns parts of various equipment and machinery such as wiring, relays, circuit breakers, electronic components and controllers. Uses PLCs to access the scale in order to troubleshoot and upgrade equipment and machinery diagrams. Performs maintenance, repairs, modifies, installs, try and diagnostic electrical and electronic problems of numerical control machines and other equipment.

Uses appropriate tools and equipment to check the settings, adjustment and calibration to ensure proper operation. Performs testing equipment and ensures their performance according to their specifications and operational requirements. Disconnects and connects electrical and electronic components of various equipment and machinery. Identifies research and prepares the order or shipment of spare parts kits ready-to-assemble and repairable components necessary to perform the work. Receives, move equipment, parts, and other equipment to designated areas.

Drives various mobile devices and motorized vehicles such as forklift and platform work. Ensures secure appropriately its scope of work. Government sets necessary accreditations. Completes all required documentation, seized and research data in various information systems, and maintains appropriate records of various parameters in order to establish efficient operations with statistical process control. May be required to work on several projects forehead.
Specific responsibilities of position :
Qualifications required :
• Holder DEC in electronics, electrotechnics or industrial electronic technology
• Certificate of electrical skills (degree C)
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC and CNC controls, Fanuc, Siemens
• Expertise in equipment predictive analytics and machine monitoring requirements
• Machine Security Expertise
• Excellent understanding of lockout rules (audit)
• Proficiency in French (oral and written) — knowledge of English an asset
• Strong problem solving capacities and analytical mindset
• Strong abilities of reading electrical drawings
• Interpersonal Skills: teamwork and positive attitude
• Familiarity with computer systems, Windows operating system and MS suite
• Knowledge of robotics Fanuc, ABB
• Proficiency in SAP is an asset
