As our CMM inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring that each engine part we deliver meets the precise dimensional specifications needed to deliver optimal performance.

Specific responsibilities of position :
You will create, check and use coordinate measuring machine (CMM) programs to measure features on various engine parts. In conjunction with this, you will plan, set, adjust and use precision-measuring instruments for dimensional inspections.

Your analytical mind and flair for math and logic will prove invaluable when performing essential tasks such as:
• Performing calculations necessary for inspection using geometric tolerances
• Preparing inspection reports
• Interpreting inspection reports, drawings, and specifications to ensure that part dimensions are compliant

You will demonstrate your keen eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities by:
• Participating in quality review surveys
• Identifying faults and sorting parts that do not comply with specifications

You will also contribute to optimal operations and thorough data management by:
• Monitoring and completing documentation after ensuring that parts comply with all standards and specifications
• Performing necessary tasks on the computer to track parts
• Relocating parts using the appropriate equipment
• Updating the relevant parameter logs to establish efficient operations using statistical process control
Qualifications required :
Requirements:
• College diploma in mechanical engineering or aircraft construction
• Five years of experience with CMM and metrology
• Experience in an industrial environment
• Excellent ability to read drawings
• Proficiency in French (oral and written)
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude

Assets:
• Knowledge of English
• Knowledge of MS Outlook and SAP
